Tape 407 Looks Like Every Other Found Footage Flick

Plane crash, government experiments and creatures

A trailer for Tape 407 is here and the following press release was sent our way to give us the lowdown on what’s it’s about. Having read it, and watched the trailer, I started getting flashbacks of the unreleased Evidence, but hey, you watch as many found footage films as we do, they all start to bleed together.

One of Hollywood’s most terrifying new films, Tape 407, represented by It Girl Public Relations, features lost footage too real for reality and too disturbing for fiction.

The film opens with two teenagers flying from New York to Los Angeles on New Years Eve. Their nightmare begins when their plane hits extreme turbulence mid-flight. The relentless weather attack causes panic and terror amongst the passengers until the plane ultimately crashes in a remote government-testing area.

The handful of survivors from the crash, bloody and disoriented, are then insistently pursued in the darkness by unknown predators that, unbeknownst to them, are part of the government’s top-secret Mesa Experiment. The film will take moviegoers on a whirlwind ride, with a twist ending that will leave you breathless, shocked, and terrified.

Tape 407 is executive produced by Rick Finkelstien, Steven Chase, and Bagiryan Armen, with producers Suzanne DeLaurentiis and Ivan Kavalsky, co-producers Stephen Fiske and Jude Tucker. The film is written by Robert Shepyer, Dale Fabrigar, and Evert Wallin, and directed by Dale Fabriger and Evert Wallin. The cast includes Abigail Schrader, Samantha Lester, James Lyons, Melanie Lyons, Brendan Patrick, Ken Garcia, Samantha Sloyan, and Jude Gerard Prest.
