Don’t f**k with the Angel of Death
Joe Dante (The Howling, Gremlins) is on board an upcoming horror flick in the executive producer capacity.
The film called Trail of Blood, from Joseph and Justin Guerrieri, both making their feature directorial debut.
Written by the Guerrieris, the story takes place on a weekend camping trip deep in the forest.
A young U.S. Marine recruit and his six friends stumble upon the murdered bodies of a vacationing couple. They are mistaken for the killers by a deeply-disturbed war veteran who calls himself the “Angel of Death.”
The veteran is determined to teach them the horrors of war through a series of tortuous mind games that leaves Jim and his friends struggling for their lives.
Dante regular Robert Picardo co-stars with Tim Barraco, Kandis Erickson, Mackenzie Mason and Maggie VandenBerghe. Trevor Torseth (Lake Dead) plays “the Marine.”
The film is currently in post-production.
