Debunking another rumor…
Here’s the second rumor of the day concerning a Lionsgate title to get debunked.
Reports were coming in that Craig Gillespie had walked away from Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. We checked in with the studio this morning and our Lionsgate reps tell us there is no truth to this at all.
Gillespie, who is re-teaming with his Fright Night screenwriter Marti Noxon, is still developing the adaptation of the Jane Austen/Seth Grahame-Smith literary mash-up.
Previous reports said that the production is currently seeking a female lead.
