Arriving in November
Image Entertainment is bringing the 1925 Phantom of the Opera, starring Lon Chaney, to Blu-ray.
The title is expected to street on November 1. A day after Halloween, so you may have to program any personal holiday film festival plans without this classic (unless you’ve got a worn copy you cherish).
According to High-Def Digest, Image is using a 1929 cut featuring a rare 2-color Technicolor sequence. Special features include: Phantom of the Opera Trailer, Gabriel Thibaudeau Interview, Photo Gallery, Phantom Script, and Phantom Souvenir Program Reproduction.
