Fun photo from 1987
A bit of garage cleaning here at Camp Shock yielded a folder of various press clippings I’ve been holding on to for one reason or another. Sifting through the stack, I found this: A People magazine photo of Michael Douglas surrounded by Frankenstein’s Monster, Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Mummy and the Gill Man at the 1987 premiere part for The Monster Squad.
The bash was thrown at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City. Douglas was hitting it big that year, having starred in Wall Street and Fatal Attraction. What I think is especially cool is that that party actually feature performers in full make-up!
