Alex Aja seems to be the go-to guy for remakes.
Pretty unfair given the talent he exhibited in High Tension. But then The Hills Have Eyes came along, which I liked. This was followed by Mirrors, itself a remake of sorts, then Piranha 3D. Recently, Dimension Films announced he was developing a Scanners television series.

It’s not the property I mind. It’s the fact that he might do another American remake. Matt Greenberg (1408) penned the script. We’ll see if this happens.
