Going for the quick cash grab, Universal has hired director Louis Morneau to helm the studio’s latest Wolfman project…which is clearly now going direct-to-DVD.
Morneau’s credits include Joy Ride 2, Bats and The Hitcher II.
Michael Tabb penned the original script for the new film, which is now going by the title Werewolf (instead of Wolfman 2 or Return of the Wolfman), and the story is said to be a period piece.
Funny, because a direct-to-DVD film already exists entitled Werewolf, too. Let’s hope Uni’s project is better than that crap.
