Warner Bros. thinks they’ve got the material to reinvent the vampire genre again.
The Wrap says Imagine Entertainment and WB is developing a film entitled Blood Wars. In what sounds like a twist on a chapter in The Terminator mythology, the story is set in the future where vampires have taken over the Earth. Humans are hunted down and used as slaves. Until a human rebellion is formed.
On script duties is Dalan Musson. Zak Kadison, meanwhile, will produce. He’s responsible for Blood Creek and Whisper.
