Dan Gitsham has found funding to turn his short, Ella, in to a feature-length film.
James Driver, co-writer of the short, in a 2010 blog entry describes the project as being “about a family unit that has completely broken down, and the father, feeling guilt over his inaction to prevent this brake [sic] down from occuring goes out to fix it once and for all.”
The original UK short starred Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Repo! The Genetic Opera) and Lisa Backwell.
