Coming to PS3 on October 14th
It’s been nearly two decades since Sweeth Tooth began his rampage of demented vehicular destruction with “Twisted Metal”. Many years and several successful entries in the franchise later, David Jaffe’s homicidal clown is back in a state-of-the-art chapter arriving October 4th exclusively for the PS3.
Shock Till You Drop was invited to attend a special preview of the game last night, hosted by Jaffe himself who unveiled, for the first time, a number of the game’s brand-new features and three of the new multiplayer levels.
One of the larger innovations in the new game is the fact that characters are no long confined to a specific vehicle. As you can see in the images below, Sweeth Tooth is finally leaving his classic ice cream truck and can sit behind the wheel of anything in the game including, Axel’s traditional big-wheeled instrument of destruction.
