The Twitter account for The Cabin in the Woods playfully posted a spin on the one-sheet that now presents a record of all of the film’s false release dates. It’s an unfortunate wake up call that draws attention to just how long we’ve been waiting for this film, directed by Drew Goddard and co-written by Joss Whedon. And you would think it would be out now, especially with Chris Hemsworth – the man who will be known as Thor this summer – leading the cast. Alas, MGM money woes have shelved the project until a release plan is formed.
