Zentropa Entertainments has revealed the trailer for writer/director Lars von Trier’s Melancholia, starring Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd, Brady Corbet, Cameron Spurr, Charlotte Rampling, Jesper Christensen, John Hurt, Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd, Udo Kier and Kiefer Sutherland.
This is the latest picture from the man who brought us Antichrist in 2009.
Melancholia is described as ‘a beautiful movie about the end of the world,’ and the story hinges on a large object from outer space approaching Earth that affects the planet’s inhabitants.
