Old Boy and Thirst director Park Chan-wook, along with this younger brother Park Chan-kyong, have shot a short horror movie using an iPhone.

The film is called Paranmanjang and, in its 30 minute run time, tells of what happens late one night when a man catches a woman while fishing in a river. It was made on a budget that amounts to about $133,000. South Korean theaters begin running the film on January 27.

“There are some good points of making a movie with the iPhone as there are many people around the world who like to play and have fun with them,” Park Chan-wook said in an AP report, adding the iPhone was an ideal filmmaking tool “because it is light and small and because anyone can use it.”
