Shock editor writing and directing
Figured I’d chime in on the news circulating around the web.
Yes, indeed, a feature-length Scream retrospective is in the works, joining the ranks of Halloween: 25 Years Later, His Name Was Jason and The Psycho Legacy.
Producer Anthony Masi and myself (working as writer-director) have been well underway on this project for a number of months now, with the blessing of Bob Weinstein and Wes Craven, exploring the Scream trilogy and examining how it changed the face of horror in the late-’90s. Everyone’s on board so far and we’ve got a ton of interviews banked.
Can’t really say much more than what Miska broke at Bloody-Disgusting but I assure you, this is going to rock. We’re also still cooking on that Hellraiser retrospective that was announced last year. I’ve also taken on the directorial reins on that one.
