Viewers hip to series premiere
Creator of The Walking Dead chimed in, via his Twitter account, today: “So apparently we had 8.3 million viewers if you count the 11:30 and 1am airings! Neato!”
Of course, he’s talking about the AMC premiere of the six-part series executive produced by Frank Darabont and Gale Anne Hurd. Darabont also wrote and directed last night’s 90-minute episode.
Needless to say, AMC is thrilled, however, the show’s fans need to keep tuning in if they want a expect a long life for The Walking Dead.
