Silverado Presents No Trace Creature Feature in 3D

One fad meets another

Thought the horror faux documentary made some of you queasy with its hand-held style? Well, try hand-held…and 3D.

Silverado Studios is moving forward on No Trace – a Blair Witch/Paranormal Activity-style POV tale that they’re proud to tout has “literally never been done before.” The company’s founder, Torrey Loomis, has apparently crafted a new technique that eschews the usual cumbersome 3D equipment. For the film, actors will wear helmets affixed with three small cameras to create the 3D footage.

The name of the film will be No Trace, written by Chad Cruchley, and concerns a group of researchers who venture into a national forest and discover a creature.

Shooting will begin in December.
