SyFy prez talks werewolf, ghost, vampire show
It sounds like SyFy is having a helluva time bringing the BBC series Being Human to the U.S., but they’re determined to get it right.
Network president David Howe gave If Magazine an update on how things are progressing. He tells the site Jeremy Carver (Supernatural) and Anna Frick are currently penning this series which follows the exploits of three roommates: A ghost, a vampire and a werewolf.
“I think the biggest challenge is how much do you take from it that’s there,” he tells If. “Where are you getting repetitive and derivative and how do you not retread? We talked a lot about the U.K. OFFICE and the American OFFICE. So we’re about making it our own and yet holding on to what’s great about the original.”
He adds that he’s hoping to have Being Human on the air sometime this summer. For more >follow this link!
