Dibbuk Box is a script that landed on my doorstep a few weeks back. I was familiar with it thanks to Sam Raimi who told Shock a year or so back that it was a project he was shepherding.
It looks like it found a home. Deadline reports Lionsgate has picked it up and Raimi and Rob Tapert’s Ghost House is producing.
Similar to Drag Me to Hell, Dibbuk Box is about the kicking of a curse. In this film’s case, a family comes into possession of the titular item which harbors evil.
