What horrors will come from this?
A quickie news item to fuel speculation…
It appears SyFy and the video game publisher THQ are getting in the sack together. Together they’ll develop a range of original properties and milk the hell out of them across different mediums. Of course, this also means they can groom existing video game properties for television and film, too. THQ has a similar deal with Dreamworks.
Looking at THQ’s library, this means there’s potential for Darksiders and Destroy All Humans. But right now, it looks like plans are being made for de Blob, kiddie fare for the SyFy Kids banner.
If anything “horror” comes out of this union, we’ll let you know.
