Journalist, tourist fight through Mexico
The UK’s Vertigo Films is moving on a new project called Monsters.
The pic comes from writer-director Gareth Edwards and is set five years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion. A cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the U.S. border.
Edwards has worked in visual effects since 2003 and has spent some time in the director’s chair on various television projects.
Another alien-inspired film with a message similar to District 9, it appears… More on this one as it comes.
