Night Flier Director Returns With Sick Nick

In the vein of Silent Night Deadly Night

Writer/director Mark Pavia is gearing up for production on his latest feature, the old-school “slasher” pic Sick Nick. Coll-Abbitt Productions is behind the project which is aiming for a November/December 2010 release for later this year. Judging from the synopsis listed below, it’s been a while since we’ve had a holiday themed horror film in the vein of Silent Night Deadly Night.

Pavia also wrote and directed the Stephen King adaptation for The Night Flier, and most recently has been working on a documentary project on supernatural hauntings, as well as a potential Night Flier sequel that he’s co-scripted with Stephen King. We’ll keep you posted on the progress of Sick Nick as we hear more.

Synopsis: House-sitting for the President of the University over Christmas break, Cindy Hart and her college classmates gear up for a crazy night of holiday fun when a massive snowstorm traps them inside without power. Undeterred, they continue to party, unaware of the horror that is about to pay them a visit – a human monster dressed in a red and white suit hell-bent on delivering his terrifying gifts. Written and Directed by Mark Pavia (The Night Flier).
