Receives tame rating
Witches. Decapitation. Possessed monks. All in a day’s work…for a PG-13 film.
Lionsgate’s Season of the Witch surprisingly received this rating from the MPAA. Surprising because, from the trailer, we thought for sure this would get an R.
PG-13 it is, however, for thematic elements, violence and disturbing content.
The film, starring Nicolas Cage, opens on March 19. Stay tuned for more coverage!
