Get a look at the “sheriff”
The gang behind John Regan’s Sherwood Horror has informed us V.G.P. Effects & Design Studio will be performing FX duties on their production.
The film is a contemporary re-imagining of the Robin Hood legend. Ex-con Rob Locksley (DJ Perry) returns home after a six-year absence to find his town under the rule of vampires. He must join forces with his old roughneck hunting buddies to wage war against the evil Sheriff and his horde of blood-suckers.
Guastini and his team of artists will handle the creature effects. Regan says, “Getting Vincent to bring Sherwood’s vampires to life is a dream come true.”
Guastini’s credits include Letters From Iwo Jima, Requiem For A Dream, Kevin Smith’s Dogma, Last of the Mohicans and Stephen King’s Thinner.
In addition, Terry Jernigan has now joined the cast which includes DJ Perry, Taymour Ghazi and Mike Powers. Jernigan is set to play Nottingham, a head vampire who usurps the role of Sheriff in order to control and manipulate the people of Sherwood while his coven feeds on the innocent.
