Actress taken off life support
Poltergeist star Zela Rubinstein was taken off of life support today at Los Angeles’ Cedar Sinai Hospital and various sources are reporting she is near death.
At 76, Rubinstein appeared in all three Poltergiest films as Tangina Barrons. The actress has also lent her distinctive voice to various television and film projects including the long-running The Scariest Places on Earth.
In 2006, she appeared in Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon and Richard Kelly’s Southland Tales.
