Now this is how to promote a TV airing…
While the TV airing of a 10 year old film isn’t exactly “news”, this promotional advertisement for an upcoming TV airing of Mary Harron’s American Psycho on New Zealand station TV2 was too cool not to share with our devoted readers and fellow horror enthusiasts.
The Hollywood Reporter Live Feed Blog pointed out the billboard that was erected to showcase the classic business card scene. Granted, if you’ve never seen the movie, the billboard will probably make no sense. However, if you have, it’s a pretty cool and unique way to promote the movie’s TV airing.
Based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel, American Psycho stars Christian Bale, Justin Theroux, Josh Lucas, Chloë Sevigny, Reese Witherspoon, Samantha Mathis, Jared Leto and Willem Dafoe. It made our Top 25 of the decade list right here. Check out the billboard advertisement below:
