Writer Attached to Forgotten Adaptation

Based on the supernatural comic book

An adaptation of the graphic novel “the forgotten” has found it’s writer.

John Rogers – responsible for the story behind Transformers (he apparently penned the first draft and takes “story” credit) – has been attached to the project by John Wells and Don Murphy’s Angry Films.

They’re the ones who first optioned the property; that option has recently been renewed.

Described as mixing the supernatural and film noir, Evan Young and Jareth Grealish’s comic book – originally published in 2002 – is set against the backdrop of Philadelphia where an investigator is searching for an exotic dancer’s killer. This investigator has the ability to make people forget about him. Handy power.

No word on what kind of time line Rogers is working under, but we’ll earmark this one and dig for more updates in the near future.
