Cleaner spends spooky night in a mansion
Mark Kelly, Billy Burke (Twilight), Oz Perkins (Dead & Breakfast), Emma Caulfield (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Elliot Gould topline an upcoming new thriller called Shadow Play which is currently in post-production.
Perkins co-penned the film with Daniel Meersand for director Nick Simon and we’ve got a full plot synopsis along with a teaser trailer.
Shadow Play depicts the story of Cole Hindin, an overworked and over-medicated cleaning service employee. He finds himself faced with the daunting task of single-handedly servicing a sprawling mansion over the course of a single night. He is plagued by horrific hallucinations, a culmination of many events. He witnessed a gruesome murder-suicide a year earlier, is badly bruised by memories of a failed marriage and strung out on a cocktail of prescription medication. With not nearly enough sleep, Cole struggles to maintain his sanity throughout the night while dealing with Henry, the deranged home owner.
Simon aims to have the film completed by February. At that time it will seek distribution.
