The second issue of Terrance Zdunich’s epic comic book series The Molting is now available via his official website right here, and we’ve got a sneak peek at the first two pages from the new book below.
Written and illustrated by Terrance Zdunich, colored by Brian Johnson and lettered by Oceano Ransford, The Molting is a 12 issue self published mini-series created by Zdunich to tell the portrait of an American dysfunctional family in the early 90’s, set against a decaying urban landscape in Anaheim, CA. The story traverses human history from Upper Paleolithic hunting parties to Southern Gothic grotesqueries to explore the family’s roots, secrets and unconventional family bonds.
What’s evident in the images below is how drastically the artistic style is changing from issue to issue, something Terrance talked about at length in our exclusive interview with him about his overall plan for The Molting right here.
