Stephen Hudis is in the final leg of casting on The Summoning, a Bloody Mary-inspired horror film starring Robert Carradine and Tarah Paige.
When a series of brutal murders occur on a college campus in New England, nobody believes when one girl claims the murderer is the legend ‘Bloody Mary’. As the deaths pile up, and the causes become even stranger, they become aware that some far more scary is amongst them.
Hudis has spent a good portion of his career in stunts (he was a tanker truck driver in Shocker), however, that changed when he directed The Lesson in 2000. The Summoning will be his sophomore effort.
Shooting is said to begin in spring of 2010.
