Night Mary Graphic Novel Being Adapted

Dreamscape for a new generation?

The team that brought you “XXXombies,” Rick Remender and Kieron Dwyer, has created a new horror comic book, “Night Mary,” and it’s currently being groomed for the big screen.

Animal Logic picked up the rights to IDW Publishing’s title.

Taking a bit of inspiration from a number of films involving dream-hopping, including Dreamscape, the story follows Mary Specter, a woman who “enters the nightmares of disturbed patients at her father’s sleep disorder clinic to try and help them. When one patient turns out to be a serial killer, nightmare and waking reality blend in dangerous ways.”

Animal Logic CEO Zareh Nalbandian will produce. IDW’s Ted Adams and Circle of Confusion’s David Alpert and Rick Jacobs are exec producing.
