House of Mystery preview coming
No relation to the 1998 film of the same name – released on home video under a “Fangoria Presents” banner – “I, Zombie” is the latest horror series from Vertigo, DC Comics’ imprint.
Announced via the Graphic Content Blog, “I, Zombie” will be an ongoing series in 2010 created by writer Chris Roberson and New York Times bestselling artist Mike Allred. “I, ZOMBIE is the story of Gwendolyn “Gwen” Dylan, zombie girl detective. Think graveyards, ghosts, vampires and werewolves with a twist,” states one blog entry.
You’ll get a preview of “I, Zombie” this fall when Vertigo rolls out their first 48-page Halloween Annual with a new “House of Mystery” framing sequence and stories including Hellblazer, Madame Xanadu, Merv Pumpkinhead and “I, Zombie.”
