Sleep-deprived kids enjoy treats
Producer Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes announced via his Twitter account that principal photography has officially wrapped on A Nightmare on Elm Street. “Just wrapped – sad. This was a fun movie to make,” he laments. Now Fuller’s been posting some behind-the-scenes stills, some of which are mostly of crew members (and non-news worthy), but overnight he ran one image of stars Rooney Mara and Kyle Gallner enjoying cupcakes – in a severe form of sleep deprivation. Director Samuel Bayer now enters post-production on this reboot of the Nightmare franchise. The film is on track for an April 16, 2010 release. Expect some sort of preview this month at the San Diego Comic-Con.
