Short news item for this one… The MPAA has weighed in on New Line’s The Final Destination. It’s been slapped with an R rating for “strong violent/gruesome accidents, language and a scene of sexuality.” Not too shabby, then again, it stays true to the series which has consistently received an “R” yet remained highly lucrative at the box office. The new chapter opens on August 28th.
