Beckinsale thriller is finally coming out
Two years ago, Comic-Con attendees were treated with a first glimpse at footage from Whiteout, the delayed Kate Beckinsale thriller based on Greg Rucka’s graphic novel of the same name. That was when the film was due sometime in late ’07 or early ’08.
We’re fast approaching the film’s September 11th release date and a promo has popped up online. It’s an effective teaser with some grisly money shots which means this isn’t the official trailer. We have been informed, however, that this has made the rounds on the convention circuit. Have a look at the preview below. What do you think of it?
Directed by Dominic Sena, the film finds Beckinsale romping around in Antarctica where she plays U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko. She’s been assigned to investigate a murder before winter comes.
