Mid-summer release planned for Australian import
Anchor Bay and Starz have picked up the U.S. DVD distribution rights for the Australian thriller Acolytes, directed by Jon Hewitt.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and is slated to debut on American soil July 28th. It’s unknown if Anchor Bay is prepping a Blu-Ray release or what special features will be included. Sebastian Gregory, Hanna Mangan-Lawrence and Joshua Payne star as three friends who blackmail a killer after the discovery of a body in the woods.
