Actor joins cast of adaptation
CBS Films has booked Neil Patrick Harris for a role in Beastly. He’ll play a blind tutor who assist Alex Pettyfer’s character, a young man turned into a hideous creature. The film is a spin on “Beauty and the Beast” and also stars Vanessa Hudgens and Mary-Kate Olsen. Daniel Barnz is adapted from the Alex Finn novel. Pre-production has begun in Montreal.
