The New Beverly’s Midnight Shock series
A reminder for all of you horror-lovin’ Los Angeles locals with nothin’ to do on a Friday night…
ShockTillYouDrop.com and the New Beverly Cinema (7165 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles) have joined forces for a new midnight movie series. Phil Blankenship and I are kicking things off right with the 1977 film The Car. Universal was cool enough to kick us a print.
The Car is a favorite of mine; a picture introduced to me by my father, in fact. He figured I’d groove to this ditty which finds James Brolin protecting his dusty town for Satan’s hellish ride, and he was right. Love this film.
Tonight’s screening kicks off at 11:59pm. Get there early, get a seat and get ready for giveaways. We’ll have some DVDs to hand out. And don’t forget, next month we’re hosting Motel Hell! For more details click here!
