First impressions, official photo
Reminder: We ran this item last month but wanted to bump it up since the world premiere is looming this weekend.
Earlier this week, I ventured down to the Warner Bros. lot to catch an early screening of Warner Premiere and Dark Castle’s fall DVD release The Hills Run Red.
Surprisingly, it’s unlike any of the direct-to-DVD fodder that’s been hitting the market. How so? Well, it’s f**kin’ good. It’s clever, disturbing and it’s got one of the most menacing and suprising killers I’ve seen hit the screen. The ending is postively brutal – a go-for-the-throat, unrelenting ride through hell.
Tickets went on sale today for the film’s world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival. It’s in good company as Paul Solet’s Grace is there, too. Full details can be found via this link.
Here’s one of the first stills, featuring stars Tad Hilgenbrink and William Sadler, from Hills to reach the web. Click below to see it in hi-res. If you visit the fest link, you’ll find a second pic there.
