Watchmen Scribe is a Battling Boy

Live-action take on the upcoming graphic novel

Alex Tse is adapting the forthcoming graphic novel adaptation Battling Boy for Brad Pitt’s Plan B and Paramount Pictures. The writer recently penned Watchmen and has a live-action Ninja Scroll in the works at Warner Bros.

Written and illustrated by Paul Pope, the “Battling Boy” graphic novel hits comic shops this spring through First Second Books. It follows the son of a god “who comes down from the top of a mountain at his father’s urging to rid the giant, continent-sized city of Monstropolis of a plague of beasts.”

Paramount execs Eben Davidson and Andrew Calof are overseeing Tse’s adaptation for the studio.
