Shaun of the Dead meets…
Sally Hawkins (Happy-Go-Lucky), Zoe Wanamaker (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone), Jimi Mistry (RocknRolla) and Mark Addy (The Order) have joined the cast of Gurinder Chadha’s horror-comedy It’s a Wonderful Afterlife.
Chadha directed Bend It Like Beckham and says her latest endeavor doesn’t skimp on red stuff as it tells the story of an Indian mother who takes her obsession with marriage into the world of serial murder.
It’s supposedly Shaun of the Dead meets My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Afterlife is currently shooting in the UK and stars actress Shabana Azmi in the lead role and reunites some of Chadha’s Bend It Like Beckham cast including Shaheen Khan, Ash Varrez and Adlyn Ross.
