More Horrors from the Haunting in CT Team

Twisted, Lionsgate prepping TV series?

The future is looking terrifying for the creative team behind next week’s release The Haunting in Connecticut.

Screenwriter Adam Simon is at work on overseeing the adaptations of British author Charles Williams’ supernatural novels published between 1930 to 1945. This endeavor will begin with Williams’ “All Hallows’ Eve.” Producer Andrew Trapani is in pre-production on Hooking Up, a teen thriller he’s developing with RightOff Entertainment (The Echo).

And it appears Daniel Farrands (His Name Was Jason, The Girl Next Door) is involved in the creation of a “supernatural suspense drama” entitled Havenhurst for Lionsgate Television and Twisted Pictures. With Shadowbox Entertainment, he’s also developing the series The Scream Team.

Director Peter Cornwell tells us he’s circling a number of upcoming projects, but it’s too early to talk about them. The Haunting in Connecticut opens in theaters on March 27th.
