Echoes Lambs and Seven
Mark Wahlberg will star in kidnap thriller Prisoners, written by newcomer Aaron Guzikowski, says Variety. It’s a project that’s said to be in the vein of The Silence of the Lambs and Seven and is being touted as one of the hottest scripts in Hollywood.
The story centers on a Boston man who turns vigilante after his daughter and her best friend are kidnapped.
Madhouse Entertainment, which manages Guzikowski, is producing.
Endeavor, which represents Wahlberg and Guzikowski, is seeking to attach a director before taking the package out to studios.
