Room 205 redo gets title change
Jake Wade Wall’s script for Anguish, a redo of the 1987 Spanish horror film, has been kicking around Hollywood for a few years. Now it’s found a home at Ghost House Pictures where Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert will produce alongside Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee and Doug Davison. The original, directed by Bigas Luna, finds two girls trapped in a movie theater with a killer who’s murders parallel the killings occurring onscreen.
According to Variety, another Ghost House remake, Room 205, is now entitled The Dorm. Full details, which broke last week, can be found in this previous news item.
