She’s investigating disappearances in Alaska
To the left is the first image of actress Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil: Extinction) as “Abbey” in The 4th Kind.
Writer-director Olatunde Osunsanmi (Within) began production on the thriller last summer and, according to Gold Circle Films’ official site, it is currently in post-production. Jovovich plays an investigator sent to Alaska where one town has seen an extraordinary number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover up.
Elias Koteas, Will Patton and Hakeem Kae Kazim (24) also star. Smokin’ Aces helmer Joe Carnahan – who Osunsanmi used to report to as an assistant – is on board as co-producer. Gold Circle also has Creek, directed by Joel Schumacher, and The New Daughter, starring Kevin Costner, awaiting release.
