Director files legal papers
Thriller the musical? Not without John Landis’ consent.
According to TMZ, the director of the famous horror-tinged music video has filed legal papers, through his lawyer Miles Feldman, against Michael Jackson over the recently announced plans to turn Thriller into a broadway show. Apparently, Jackson scored a cool $400,000 for cutting a deal with Nederlander Org, the company behind the musical.
Landis is understandably pissed and believes Jackson had no right to do this without talking to him.
