Is she in or out?
Earlier this week, word leaked out that Summit and director Chris Weitz were wooing actress Dakota Fanning for a role in New Moon, the next chapter in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series.
ShockTillYouDrop.com spoke with Fanning today and she confirmed she is circling the film. “I really hope that works out,” she says. “I think it’s too soon to tell right now, but it’d be really fun. I’m a huge fan.” Rumor has it that Weitz is hoping to snag her for the part of Jane, a deadly Italian vampire.
As principal photography is expected to begin in the couple of months we’ll likely be hearing more on Fanning’s participation soon.
