The Australian supernatural thriller
During our American Film Market coverage this year, we introduced to you an Australian horror film entitled Lake Mungo and with this news item came a look at the one-sheet. It’s been updated since then and the image you see below represents the final poster.
Written and directed by Joel Anderson, Lake Mungo picks up with the accidental drowning of a 16-year-old girl. When her body is recovered, her grieving family buries her only to experience a series of strange and inexplicable events centered in and around their home. Profoundly unsettled, the Palmers seek the help of a psychic and parapsychologist who discovers that Alice led a secret, double life. A series of clues lead the family to Lake Mungo where Alice’s secret past emerges.
