The Hills Have Eyes 2‘s Martin Weisz is attached to direct for Senator Entertainment using Eric Poppen’s script. Brittany Snow is locked in as the leading lady. Based on the popular video game series, this film takes its cue from the second installment which finds the heroine locked up in a psychiatric hospital trying to escape the curse that has haunted her family for generations.
