Wayans Continue to Threaten Us With a Munsters Film

Good news: They won’t star

In 2004, the Wayans Bros. announced they were developing a feature film version of The Munsters. An update arrived nearly one year ago which addressed the issue of the proposed project’s rating. MTV has now learned from Shawn Wayans that a third draft is close to completion and is “almost ready to be shot.”

“If we do anything, maybe we’ll do a cameo, but we’re not gonna make The Munsters black all of a sudden,” Wayans tells the site. “They’re gonna be green, white people just like they were in the TV show. Their characters are still who they were in the ’50s. It’s just in modern day.”

The Wayans Bros. are currently finishing up their obligations on another comedy Dance Flick before they put their stamp on Munsters family.
