DVD art and release date for horror anthology
Deon Taylor’s Nite Tales – a double-feature horror effort (think Two Evil Eyes but, er, without Romero and Argento) – comes to DVD via Paramount Home Entertainment on January 20th.
Hosted by Flavor Flav, the first of two fearsome ‘n funky tales follows would-be bank robbers who make their escape then take a turn for the worse as they encounter a gruesome and hungry cannibal in “Karma.” Then, in “Storm,” everyone’s a suspect when a girl turns up dead. But mysteriously, as the rain falls, so do more bodies.
Nite Tales stars Tony Todd, Tyrin Turner, Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr. You get the Flav but no special features on PHE’s presentation. Behind-the-scenes photos, however, can be found at Taylor’s website.
Taylor also helmed the upcoming Chain Letter for Twisted Pictures.
